It's hard to believe, that I've been in the dental field for over thirty years. These years have flown-by ever since I first started my dental hygiene career at Dentasia. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting, treating and forging lasting relationships with my patients. After several years working full time, I took time to raise my three sons, Andrew, Jordan and Justin. I have returned to assist our patients at the front desk. It's very enjoyable for me to see patients who I treated as young adults, now bringing their children to the office. I especially love continuing education and bringing those aspects into the office.
It's been a joy! For the past 30 years I have worked with Dr. Cirieco and our friendly staff, providing the very best care possible. I genuinely care for the health and well being of all my patients. Prevention is the cornerstone of my career, and it brings me great pleasure to see the fruits of my labor. Each and every one of my patients is given my full attention and most diligent effort in maintaining their overall dental health. I graduated Hostos Community College(honors) in 1985 where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene. I received my Bachelors degree from Mercy College(honors) where I double majored in Community Health and Gerontology. I was determined to receive this degree quickly and did so in one and a half years. I am also a proud retired United States Army sergeant.
For more than 30 years I have worked in the Dental field and a majority of those years have been with Dr. Cirieco. I love my job as receptionist because I get to interact one on one with patients. I also love working with such a great team, where we're not just a staff that works together, but a big family that gets along and supports one another. On a personal note, my husband Anthony and I are having the best time of our lives as the grandparents of 5 wonderful, brilliant, and beautiful grandchildren. I can honestly say that I still enjoy coming to work.
There are so many things I like about working at our office. For one, we truly care about our patients and the teamwork here is fantastic. I love working with all my patients and making sure they are comfortable in my chair. I especially love the challenge of transforming a patient who has neglected his teeth to the point of embarrassment. It is so gratifying to witness the proud healthy smile, knowing that my expertise and my patient's determination made it possible. My relationship with Dr. Cirieco began over 20 years ago when I assisted him chair side. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the office and was very impressed at what I considered to be his technical expertise and gentle manner with his patients. I was inspired to pursue the profession of Dental Hygiene. Once I graduated NYU College of Dentistry in 1996 with a degree In Dental Hygiene, I was very happy to return as a Dental Hygienist.
I have worked at many dental offices over my career, but when I was hired here at Dentasia, I knew I found a place that I can call home. My first impression was that both Dr.’s Joseph and Jordan Cirieco are very professional Dentists with a lot of heart and concern for their patients. I immediately came to realize that they have great personalities, excellent senses of humor, and an immense dedication to ensuring their patients get the absolute best quality of care. I especially love the new and advanced equipment. The staff and patients are all wonderful and pleasant people to be around. I have worked in the dental field as a treatment assistant for over 20 years, and I can honestly say that I have found a very happy place to work, one that puts their patients above all else.
